Back in Fighting Form
(Written and arranged by Outlaw Saint)

I woke up again on the wrong side of bed * Thoughts of dread stuck in my head * Winters at an end, time to shake these blues * There’s only one thing that I can do…

Gotta pick myself up from depression’s floor * And tell the world, I won’t take it any more…

I was feeling down, so I turned things around * And now I‘m ready to hit the stage * One step from my demise ‘til I opened my eyes * Now this animal wants out of its cage * Now I know before, I was feeling worn * But now I’m back in fighting form…

(SOLO#1)

I once had someone who was my better half * But as time passed, I forgot how to laugh * Guess she was stunned when I wouldn't look back * But I had to leave to get my life on track…

(SOLO#2)

Now I woke up today on the right side of bed * No more dread stuck in this head * Winter’s gone away, a new season is at hand * It’s time to see what I can do with this band…

And I picked myself up from depression’s floor * And I showed the world, that I won the war…

Instead of feeling down, I turned things around * And now I‘m ready to hit the stage * I’m far from my demise now that I’ve opened my eyes * And this animal is out of its cage * Now once before, I was feeling worn * But now I’m back in fighting form…
